Just joined the forum as we are collecting our first HPR in four weeks and I have never trained a dog to the gun before - so this seemed like the perfect place to be Very Happy

We have chosen a GSP, went to have a look/choose him at the weekend but they are not ready for 4 more weeks, that said we decided on a name months ago - 'Wesley' , though I can guarantee he will be called 'Wes' Most of the time Smile

Hi and welcome.  You're close a good trainer if you need help.  Rory Major is in your area and there are a few people on this forum not too far away from you.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I am sure a local training 'club' would be an excellent idea, We saw a sibling from a previous litter working on saturday and I would love that level of control.

Am I missing something Confused There hasn't been any HPR "group" training in Lincolnshire for nearly fifteen years Evil or Very Mad I agree Rory Major is a fantastic trainer but regular group training is so very useful.
Any way - Good luck with your new pup - Enjoy!
