First Day ZUCHTSCHAU ( Breeding Show )

3 judges for dogs and 3 for bitches. Each dog is measured and teeth counted. Walked, trotted and fast trotted around the ring, then graded and criteque read out

2 nd Day HZP Autumn Test for Junior dogs Each group has 4 dogs with 3 judges

Test 1 Field work Each dog runs for 4 times on different ground for 15 to 20 mins each run, on the second run the handler takes his shotgun and shoots twice while the dog is hunting

Test 2 300 m drag on a rabbit, drag has 2 turns which the dog must follow then rabbit is retrieved at the end

Test 3 150 m drag of a duck in a meadow which is retrieved

Test 4 Seen retrieve of a duck in water and while the dog is swimming a shot is fired into the water over its head.

Test 5 Blind retrieve with 1 command on a duck on the edge of an island in thick reeds at the top right of the picture starting from the left.

Test 6 Hunting a duck in thick reeds for 10 to 20 minutes.

Average age of dogs 16 to 20 months

A duck shoot I went on and didn't realise I was invited into the house for dinner at the end of it. Embarassed

I was a real duck out of water dressed in fleece and Sasta trousers while everyone else was formal. Laughing

Who's the Muenster? I didn't think Muensters trotted or fast trotted at their Zuchtschau or perhaps it varies area to area?
