Great pics!!  I love counting and being out on the moors but sadly had to turn down an opportunity to count next week because of distance and time  Sad   It was nice to be asked though as I've never counted for these people before  Very Happy

Nice pics.  I have always tried to get a photo of a dog and a grouse!  Never managed it though.

Rob started today but had to pull out because of the weather.  Hoping to get out with him next week but first have to find a babysitter.  Pretty much having to forget about counting this year because of Sam and will think myself lucky if I get out for a couple of hours next week.

We had another brilliant day out counting on Sunday.  I took Ekko as I'm trying to get her as much experience as possible at the moment and Geoff took Grouse (the eldest one).  Poor 'Pink' had to stay at home with my son's cocker much to her disgust as I only try to work one at a time.
I was particularly pleased with the first point as it was a back wind and as Ekko had spun round on point I saw Grouse heading in our direction!  (She preferred to be with us rather than Geoff!)  She did stop and back Ekko though which was great, although just after her arrival the birds did flush.

Last weekend we went up to Alston for the Grouse Pointing Test and Ekko was graded 'Good'.  There were 11 running in Junior - all GSPs except for us!
