Hi,

My name is Pamela & I own 1 Large Munsterlander called Elvis (Qualitil Unforgetable). I am a 1st time munster owner & I am forever learning new things about these amazing dogs.
Elvis as my 1st ever munster has been challenging to say the least but I am happy to say that thanks to the help of many experienced & friendly Munster people I am finally starting to really enjoy my boy.
Elvis is shown lightly & we are doing quite well in the showring.
I don't work him but I do take part in the Nat App in Kelso every year & always enjoy seeing Elvis hunting when we are out walking.
I think if (or should I say when) I am in a position to get a 2nd LM I will be more interested in learnign the working side.

Pam xx

Hi Pam

We just did the NAT down in Stoke Bardolph a week or two ago. And I think there are a few people on here doing the one in Kelso this year, so maybe you will meet some of them there!

Welcome to the forum...

Hi,

Thanks for welcoming me to the board, Sue & Josie. I am a really novice dog owner, but am very keen to learn. Very Happy

I think getting a Munster as a 1st dog was probably not the wisest move, but I wouldn't be without Elvis now. But Boy, they can be hard work!!!

The Nat App at Kelso is always a really good day out, especially if the weather is good. It's a really useful day too as the judges are always really friendly & helpful. Needless to say Elvis has never actually passed, but I would more put that down to bad handling than lack of ability!!!!LOL Laughing

Welcome to the board Pam! Are you going to the HPR Club of Scotland on Saturday? I'm going to be there with my 18 month old gwp. I'm also hoping to do the NAT in Kelso. (Not to self - remember to print off form!)

Hi Helen,

Yes I'll be at HPR on Saturday, I like to go to as many scottish open shows as possible so we don't lose the classes. What's your pups name? I'll need to look out for you, when are you on? We are on after GLP's in ring 2. It's nice it doesn't start til 11am, won't be too early a start for me (I live about 1.5hrs away from show).

I will also need to remember to print off the form for the Nat App, thanks for that reminder Very Happy

Pam
