My name is Paul and I live in Devon. I have a 16 month old Viszla bitch called Snookie who despite a few setbacks is starting to progress well. I'll attach a couple of photos of her with my brother's GSP Willow.
Cheers
Paul

Hi Wincy
good to have another Vizsla owner on board. Are you going to work him, show him or just love him?

If you are going to work him, need help with finding trainers or just like to meet other vizsla folks then do get in touch.

Thanks to everyone for their welcome to the site.

I am going to take her beating this season and then if all goes well with her training I may consider doing some field trials with her at some point next year. In terms of training I've been to see Steve Kimberley about 3 or 4 times now. Unfortunatly she is just getting over a phantom pregnancy so she has missed out on the best part of three months training but now seems to be progressing well again. I would welcome any info on Vizslas or Vizsla events.
Thanks again

Paul

Hi Wincy,

Welcome to the board. Its nice to see some more Vizsla owners here. I have four Vizslak, 3 bitches and a dog, I am curious to know why you lost three months of training because of a phantom pregnancy did you have problems with her?

Hello

I have just had a look at my diary and with the preceeding season she had about 10 weeks off. There was no real problem just that while she was having the "phantom" she was not particulary interested in training ect. If you know of any remedies for this I would be very interested.

Thanks
Paul
