Hi - I have 4 beautiful Vizslas (2 males, 2 females) and am a British girl, now living in Canada! I run Vancouver Island's only canine hydrotherapy pool - please check us out: www.vitalk9.ca
I am currently active in agility, conformation (showing), obedience and rally obedience with my ginger guys and hope to soon get into tracking. _________________ Chrissie & The Vitali Vizslas

Hi Chrissie,
Nice to meet you, it's good to have you on the board. Allyson runs tracking workshops in the UK, if you post a question about tracking in the working trials section (tracking forms part of working trials in the UK) I am sure she can give some good advice! _________________ Fi 1 year old Weimaraner

Harley Weimaraner. Much loved and sorely missed.
Helen - it's a sort of upbeat style obedience sport and is still quite new to Canada. Your dogs perform a series of obedience exercises at different "stations" as they move around a course. The whole thing is timed, so you stay on the move. You are allowed to encourage your dog and give treats at certain points, so it's very different to traditional obedience and the dogs just LOVE it! I'll try to find time to add some links and a bit more info on it to the "obedience" forum here, if you want to learn more. Although there are no trials etc in England at present, there's no reason why you couldn't practice the same stuff and maybe even someone will start a RallyO association there, so that you can compete! It's fun though, even just as practising and I have found it's helped my "trad" obedience no end. Obedience is FUN for my dogs (and me!) now! _________________ Chrissie & The Vitali Vizslas

I'm really interested in learning about this rally obedience too. It seems there is a lot more choice in the US, a lot more independent organisations running their own tests etc than in the UK.
I'd really like to get the agility, WT and obedience sections up and running as well as the gundog section, so please feel free to post lots in those!
