Hi to all of you I know and Hi to all of you I don't

We've an 18 month old LM, Beecham. He's our second LM. Although we don't intend to work him I have come on here to learn some of the principles, hope that's OK, and I apologize in advance for any daft questions I may ask. Thanks for suggesting it Peter & thanks Nicky for the address. Karen suggested that we did some scurries with Beecham @ the Beta Gundog w/e and I realized that I couldn't direct him that much. So, once he's settled (been in kennels for 16 nights), I will teach him 'Back' for starters. Friends with working lab & springer explained this to me and I will read the posts on here later.

Beecham has passed his Silver Good Citizen thing & we'll attempt the Gold in July. I hope to do some Working Trials training with him once he's 2 years old, though I'm still not sure about that high jump. A WT Judge is going to teach me how to 'teach' Beecham to track in the summer and he'll start baby agiliity then too - has to be low & controlled as he's not 2 yet. Meanwhile, we go to regular obedience.

Langhaar, I think met you about a year ago in the Chippie vets - I was talking to a woman about springers and you said you had 5 at home. I thought you meant springers and felt a complete idiot when I saw your van outside...

Welcome Sue, ask as many questions as you want! I am sure there are plenty of people just waiting for the right question to be asked Smile

Welcome to the board Sue. No question is a daft question. If you don't know, you shouldn't be afraid to ask.
