Just seen this - posted this morning on petsearch

LOST Whickham, Gateshead 9.4.08. 'Muttley' German Wire Haired Pointer entire
male. Liver and white. Wire haired but back and flanks are short. Liver head
and ears. Lighter muzzle. Docked tail - about 5 inches long. Approx 19 inches.
Unusually small for the breed - smaller than an average female. 7 years old.
Brown leather greyhound collar with metal ID disc & yellow plastic tag.
Microchipped.
