Hi all,

I live in North Yorkshire with my partner Lucy and our two Large Munsterlanders Inca and Kai. I decided to join the forum having been drawn into the wonderful world of 'working' HPRs by my two rogues!

Inca (14 months) is currently more of an HP dog, the R got lost somewhere along the way, but we're making progress so I'm pretty sure we're going to get there. Then I just have to convince her to swim!

Kai (9 months) has oodles of potential and endless enthusiasm for H,P and R so here's hoping I can do him justice. He's a very hot hunter, has a huge  nose and plenty of German blood in his pedigree... enough said?!

I'm new to HPR training so I'm looking forward to learning much more over the coming years. I'm really getting involved in gundog work for the enjoyment of using my dogs' natural skills and taking it from there, but I would like to take part in tests and trials and perhaps work in the field if and when the time is right.

I'm also a big fan of clicker training and really pleased to see interest in this method growing in the gundog world.

Looking forward to being more involved in HPRs!

Ali

Thanks, nice to see some friendly munster 'faces' on here, and to meet some new HPR fans!  Wink

Helen, we're between York and the east coast so more the moors than the dales, but happily within driving distance of the dales for walks and weekends away!

Hi from bonny Scotland. Well, it would be bonny if only it would stop raining Twisted Evil I've got 4 of the black and white beasties ranging from 15 months to 10 years. They get a tad addictive after a few years (I've had them since 1990  Wink )
