Hello

I am the gamekeeper of Bodidris in Llandegla, North Wales, near wrexham.

On Friday night my german wirehaired pointer of 2 and half years old was stolen from the kennels along with my three year old cocker spaniel.

The german wirehaired pointer was solid liver with a small white patch on his chest and docked. The cocker spaniel was liver and white, with specs, and was also docked. They are not just working dogs but a big part of our family as I'm sure your dogs are to you and your families.

I am offering a substantial reward for the safe return of my dogs and information leading to their return.

Please, someone out there must know something.

I have registered them on lostdogs.co.uk. Neither dog was microchipped or had tatoos. I have alerted as many rescue homes as I can find via email.

If anyone can help with information or to spread the word I will be very grateful.

Thank you

David

David

I am very sorry to hear that these dogs have been stolen.  I have already circulated the details to other email lists and asked for the information to be passed on.  I've also emailed the GWPC rescue person in case he may get to hear something.

I do hope that you hear something really soon and if I can be of any help then pls let me know.

Regards

Really sorry to read that this morning David - I thought it must be you.  We'll keep our eyes and ears open around here - spoke to Angela too.

Keeping everything crossed you get these 2 dogs back. I have put it on the GWPC website.

I hope you hear something very soon.

Hello

Fortunately got Rommel the GWP back.

Heres the situation

He is badly cut up, has definately been attacked by another dog. He has lost a lot of weight. He was found int he New Broughton hills Friday night, Dont know by who, dont know who they rung or if the warden got them as THEY WOULD NOT TELL ME! They told me to ask the council. So I dont know whats going on with Jigga my cocker because I cant find out who rung up to get more details. Rommel was taken to the acorn centre in whitchurch.

The local paper came round will run a story with some photos in and I willl be putting up posters everywhere.

Gosh David I am so sorry to hear what they have done to Rommel but glad that you can now get him fit again.   Got everything crossed that you soon find your Cocker and that you get some answers!!

Just a thought, but have the Police been notified regarding the theft...surely they would have to disclose details regarding the recovery of the dogs...

I'd also get in touch with the main cocker rescue (spaniel rescue cover them) just in case your cocker gets handed into them.  Are they chipped???

Hope you get a good result and soon far too many going missing at the moment.
