Came back due to a divorce. This young bitch is exceedingly promising. Back to me on the Friday and the following day she scored the highest points on the assessment day first time I handled her. Her hunting can be seen on the video clip. She has pointed partridge in the open, retrieved pigeon from water and rabbits to hand.If a second opinion is required I'm sure Sharon who judged her will be happy to oblige.
I am looking for an owner who could get the most out of her, she is biddable, on the whistle and eager to please. Too good to be true, believe me she's not !
Am looking for a competent owner who could take her to the top.Have a new German bitch coming in November, otherwise this bitch would stay.
I'm glad she has a home. I missed the original post as I was on holiday. I would love a GLP but not sure I caould have 'taken her to the top' _________________ Claire Minstergate Weimaraners

Many thanks for your kind words. Yes I'm very pleased, even more so to have such a good feedback about the breed. We took them out on stubble and he worked Elise into the wind, couldn't believe her instinctivness and how she turned when she came to a hedge. Explained an experienced dog would check this out before turning which amazed him even more.A seen retrieve in the middle of the field brought back to hand showed him our dogs can retrieve well too! He has owned a Vizsla before and has his own shoot.Lives only 30 mins away, even better!
I do have another bitch I might sell on Weima, because she has the same sire as Evi, our youngest. She was RBB at Crufts and won a puppy test first time out. She is the one who found a covey last week on the moors in the pictures I posted.
Sharon gave her Group 3 at Windsor Gundog.
Am taking her on her first shotover day first week in October.
