Hi Everyone,

My name is Dee, and I have just joined the site today. I currently own three Spinioni, OH would love  a HWV and we will probably be adding one to our number at some point in the not too distant future. I show at the moment but I am hoping to work the gang in the near future (But first I need to be  trained  Laughing ).
Ideally I would like to be able to do both activities, and maybe some obedience along the way with the youngest boy (he's as sharp as a tack )

I do find it a bit difficult to find somewhere I can begin my training here in Germany, due to the language barrier. My German is perhaps not as good as it should be, although I know enough to get by at shows and I am learning all the time, but it is still not up to scratch.

I have however been looking into travelling over to the UK to begin training, before we return to the UK sometime 2010.

I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge of working my dogs, hopefully with the help of the knowledgable folk on this forum  Very Happy  and just wanted to say thank you for your help and advise in advance.

Welcome to the site, I am sure you will get plenty of help and advice on here. I have 5 weims and a HWV and I am also attempting to be trained for working the younger ones.
I know of a litter of HWVs that have just been born if you are looking in UK for your new addition - good luck. Smile

Hello Dee

Welcome to the site.   At least you are making an attempt at speaking/learning German I'm still really bad at it which is quite annoying when I'm over there trying to understand what they are trying to tell me  Laughing  Laughing

Welcome Dee.

I can give you some contacts in North Germany who speak very good English and who train and judge for the various tests.
