A complete novice shamed in to saying HelloHi All
Having just won one of the Hallmark dummies in the free draw (thanks again Bango) I thought it high time I stopped skulking and said hello.
I have a 14 month old GWP called Wilf, who is quicker on the uptake than I am but I/we are getting a little better. I am an utter novice and have found the many lively posts on this forum very helpful indeed so thanks for that...right back to work then

Jan, it's partly the 'weird sense of humour' that keeps drawing me back on here 
Caz at the moment I can only dream of getting another wire as my OH has dug her heels in. Mind you I'm having enough 'fun' for the moment with Wilf, but one day maybe...
Have to say Bill it was one of your posts on the draw thread that prompted me into here....missing a tie breaker discussing veggies!

That's the trouble with wummin - as soon as they get to know you they begin to capitalize on the male humans innate good nature and natural courteous behaviour towards the less naturally gifted female version of the species. In short we let you win 'cos we feel sorry for you !

Thanks for the welcome and the offer, Crook's no distance from Darlington and it would be good to practice with someone. Mind you, you haven't met Wilf yet I'll PM you in the not too distant future if that's ok and we can take the shine off the new dummy
