I read the first section and have to say my eyes glaze over the minute somebody refers to a bitch as a "Girl". As for the comments about selling pups at Christmas? I would have thought a holiday time with nothing to do but look after a pup would be an ideal time to buy/sell a puppy. I can think of many times of the year buisier than Christmas.
Hopefully it will get better.

Hi Des,
I am no expert but I think neoteny refers to immature characteristics in adults, e.g. floppy ears and also refers to the characteristics common between domestic dogs and juvenile wolfs, characteristics that mature wolves lose when adult. Kind of like the cuteness factor...
