We went to the winner at the weekend with Anya, our European import. We had a great time, and we met people from all over, including from the UK. The long trip turned out to be worth it in the end, as Anya got reserve cac and reserve cacib!!!! I suppose I could translate it (not too innacurately i hope ) to be reserve best bitch......
Here is her picture, she's now almost 2, and has been with us for just over a year.
That is FANTASTIC Nina!!!!!!! She looks great. Who is handling her in the photo?
Are you going to keep showing her over there and try to make her up over there?
What was it like, showing on the continent and how did it differ to showing here in the UK? (I've heard they look at movement a lot more and there's lots of running round in circles for ages - is that true??)
What is the Amsterdam "Winner"??? What does the Winner part mean?
Do you think they're more receptive to her "type" over there, whatever that is, than in the UK?

Thanks Jo. I think we will carry on showing over there as long as we can afford to hehe. It is different, and yes some judges keep people going and going and going on the move. Re the type, yes I know for a fact that Anya is built for Europe, but we knew that, before we bought her. Doesn't matter too much to us really.
The Winner bit I think Mar will have to answer at some point If you get CACIB's or win in the junior class you get a title added to your FCI pedigree, I think.
Duncan is handling her - he always does. She's not the easiest show dog and I think she does it for him, not because she likes it.

Really well done. How did you get over there? Did you take the Channel Tunnel or fly? Or boat?
Alkemist
We did the tunnel Jo, I don't really do ferries

Well done Nina I thought Anya was a cracking little dog when I met her!
