Bless himMugi attended his first Championship Dog Show yesterday, he had a ball  . He had some very nice comments and he got a 1st in Veteran Dog (sadly not Crufts qualifying but hey). He doesn't really understand showing, he tries to sit, skip, do all the things a show dog shouldn't but his tail wags constantly and he laps up the fuss so who cares, he started showing at over 10.5 so he is a bit of a late learner.
He then went on to do his Good Citizen Bronze award - bummer, his stay wasn't timed the first attempt and being a Brittany he saw no reason to repeat it so we set him up while some others answered their questions and he stayed beautifully for longer than the required length of time.
We came home so he could celebrate with a run and a can of pilchards . He will now try for his Silver Good Citizen as he can already do all elements apart from the longer stay which we can work on.

I met Mugi for the first time on Saturday and I think he is fab Well done Sue and Mugi!
