Hi guys - had a call from a lady who found a young GSP bitch wandering inthe Aspull area of Gt Manchester today. She was very friendly, in good condition and in season!!
She didn't know what breed the dog was until the dog warden picked her up and told her, the bitch was taken to Leigh Cats and Dogs home where she will be held for 7days. The lady who found her is worried that she will be put down if not claimed in 7days so she promtly got on the net and found me.
I have alerted breed rescue but asthe dog is now in council kennels she will need to stay there until claimed, if she isn't rescue will try and get her out. This is a lovely girl and I am sure someone is missing her. So if anyone knows or hears about a missing GSP bitch it is perhaps worth checking this girl out. I have pics of her if required.
