Good news regarding WetherbyJust thought i would let everyone know that its supposed to be dry at Driffield Champ showhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2589 Yeh Yeh Yeh Yeh Yeh Also, here is a message on the Driffield Champ show web-site News Item 16/09/2008 07:20 Message from Show Manager, Contrary to rumour currently circulating with regards to the state of the show ground, there are NO problems what so ever with the show site. Neither the show ground or caravan site have poor ground condition, the show ground is in fact very solid under foot. Work is very well advanced with the erection of the Marquees and the show ground looks well. It has been decided that caravans will be allowed on site, Sunday 14th September from late afternoon. This is the earliest possible due to other events being held at the racecourse. |

Well thank goodnes for that .... my knee still hasn't recovered from yomping through all that mud at Darlington. Can't say I was looking forward to another mud bath this weekend !!

I wasnt looking forward to it either. But again we are on the 3rd day so things could all change by then! Im taking my wellies again to be on the safe side.
My nice cream jacket still hasnt recovered from SUnday. It has been in the wash 3 times and still has Millie paw marks on it. I guess i'll try washing it again when i get home from work. P |

It hasn't rained here since Friday so Wetherby should dry out & hold up very well.
I am going Friday too so will let you know the state of the gound when I get back. |

The showground & car parks are in excellent condition  It has been dry for a week now although there is excellent drainage. The only damp part really is just inside the BIS tent along the walkway but it's nothing really.

Thank goodnes for that ..I really couldn't face another mud bath !
Will be looking like death warmed up tomorrow as I am nursing a dental absess and what with antibiotics and painkillers I am like a walking pharmacy ... hopefully the dog will be in better shape than the owner !! Now who was it that said dog exhibiters are bonkers
