Hello allHi. New to this forum lark so still trying to work out the lingo - its only taken a few hours to catch on to lol etc... so this could be hard work! But I hope you will be gentle with me. 
I have had Weimaraners for lots of years now and have always worked them (trialing and on local shoots) although I started off showing. Been out of the loop for a number of years although I do still have two 10 year olds but looking forward to getting a pup and getting involved again soon. Can't wait to get fit again if nothing else....

Hi Jo from another Jo and welcome to the forum from me and Slate (3 yo Weim) and Grey (8mnth old Slovak). Slate picks up and has just started trials and Grey so far just chews blankets and barks a lot. LOL.

Devo (my current Weimaraner dog named after the punk band Devo - we are not men we are Devo!!) snorts like a pig when ground scenting so he name transmogrified from piggywig to doodypig..... obvious really!! Well to me anyway....!

Yaaaaaaay up the Weims - Welcome to you and your grey ones. I have Holly who will be 7 on Christmas Day (rehome - had her two years). Before that I had Abbie from a pup (hardest job I have EVER done - first ever dog to boot  ).

I definately feel old now!! All my dogs have been named after band members or bands:
"Yaxi" - Yaxi Highriser from Alien Sex Fiend (early 80's punk band)
"Axl" - Axl Rose from Gun's n Roses (of course!)
"Vamp" - Transvision Vamp
"Devo" - Devo ((Devolution) American punk band) - Registered name "Akateze Angelic Upstart" another punk band.
I do have "Rain" but she came back to me so I didn't name her
Just thinking on names for the new one when I get it.... any suggestions?

I have heard of Transvision Vamp, I used get told I look like her, cant remeber her name?????Wendy somthing I think, and I have heard of Guns and Roses.....The rest well I will leave to you oldies.

Oh god! Now I really feel old ! My dogs K.C. names used to be Rolling Stones tunes - Tumbling Dice, Brown Sugar, Honkytonk Woman etc.!!!!
