Paz

Hi from Paz :)

Hi  Smile I'm Helen

I was told I would enjoy being in this forum - so took the plunge.

I have two Weis at the moment. Sacha who is 15 y.o. and 10 month Paz.

I train my dogs to be my escort-dogs as I am agoraphobic. Really hoping to share ideas on how to improve the quality of my pup's R & R time. And find out more about this fabulous breed.

We live in County Durham

Thanks, Helen   Smile

p.s. I am a pc nit-wit and new to forums, so please forgive my mistakes and questions
Paz

Oh heck - how do I get rid of those adverts in my post ??? lol
johnhod

Hi Paz and welcome.  You can't get rid of the adverts.  Well you can, but only by getting a reply to your posting.  The advert should be on my post now.

Everyone on here (except me) makes mistakes so don't worry, you'll get all the help you need and remember if you ask a question you may look silly for a moment, if you don't ask it you could look silly for a lot longer.
Paz

Hi Smile  thanks for the welcome.

Have no problem looking silly, been a way of life for years some would say Wink

Just noticed the times on your posts Shocked .  Do you ever sleep? Smile

Hey Helen glad you made it at last. Smile

Don't mention the word SLEEP at the moment John Shocked Helen grabs it whenever she can at the moment with a golden oldie like Sacha.  I mean 15 Shocked  Shocked  Shocked  come on Cool  Cool  Cool
Paz

Hi John Smile yep - get the usual 8 hours sleep  in any given 24. However, zzzzzzz time is not all in one go. My old lady needs frequent potty trips through the night. Therefore I sleep in split-shifts. Like the stage door canteen, we never shut

Hi lovley Les Smile - yeah, made it eventually. When my inept pc skills cause the whole forum to crash they will all have you to thank Wink Very Happy
Ghilliegumdrop

Hi Paz...and here's me thinking it's my job to crash the thing Very Happy  Very Happy

Hi Lisa and Helen Smile

Thanks for the welcome. Just call me H if it will save on confusion Wink
Claire

Welcome from me too  Very Happy

Although I must admit to laughing at you saying you are new to forums.  On the weim forum you've got almost as many posts as me except I joined in 2004 and you joined in 2008  Shocked  Laughing
Paz

Hi Claire Smile thanks for the welcome. Always nice to hear from you

I am always, I hope, good at providing giggles Wink However, what I said is true. Not only am I a pc nitwit, but like a lot of geniuses, I am also dyslexic. New forums, and small writing gives me a hard time.

Throughout the space of time I will confess to all my other printable weaknesses  Laughing

Hi again Smile re my number of posts .... I am on a mission for ' knowledge'

Tis a fair few years since I trained a pup. First one to admit my ideas may be out of date. Tis a spin-off from being an 'experienced trainer' Wink that and too much vino and sleep deprivation may well had addled my grey cells  Very Happy
BritAnnie

Hi Paz
Welcome to this mad-house.  I am so pleased that the dogs help you with your phobia - they are excellent for that and it's a great pity my sister's ma-in-law couldn't feel she could have another dog after her last one died as it would have helped her get out so much more.  I can uhderstand her feeling of loss on losing Sweep, but it meant she spent her last 10 years in self-inflicted imprisonment in her home.  I wish you much enjoyment from your three.

Hi BritAnnie Smile thanks for the welcome

Good to hear it described as a mad-house. Have never claimed to be sane so I should fit in well Very Happy

Sorry to hear about your sister's MIL, but sadly, so many of us do make our own prisons. Thanks to my highly trained brats I have a life. Without them it would only be an existence.Life, I feel, is too short for that. You are a long time looking at the lid.

Paz and I had just started  her  Grand Tour of the British Isles when Sach's illnesses put it all on temporary hold. Always next year Very Happy

Paz

Laughing are you stalkin' my posts? Wink

IMHO the 'white bits' are only bestowed on those wot have been chosen for a life of excellence, pleasure-seeking, hedonism and eccentricity Wink
