hip score resultsJust got Grey's hipscore results back...She got 5/4, total 9. (Breed average 10, but that is based on only 14 dogs  !)
Guess that's ok - not as good as Slate's (3/3) but v acceptable. Phew. |

Oh that's ok Jo.
I got Chase's back the other day and also a phew here  . Mine came back quicker than yours though cos my films were done later and I have had the results back nearly a fortnight.

What is the Brittany average score? I'm also wondering what the GWP average is? (Seeing SRPs have them in them, and Weims are 12, I think?!) |

Brittanys 18 but only about 350 dogs. In France B grade hips - that which you need to take CACS or be allowed to breed goes up to 24. chart here. http://epagneulbreton.org.uk/pedigree/hipscore.htm
When you show in France you have to have your hip score result with you to show the judge if you are up for the CACS or RCACS (CC or RCC equiv) Dogs of band C can achieve a conformation grading of Excellent but cannot be awarded CAC. Dogs below C cannot be awarded Excellent. Catja's took 6 weeks to come back. 7/8 |

Brittany Breed Mean as at 01/11/2007 on 376 dogs is now 17.
Chase came in at 7/9 done on 24th July, scored 20th August and back to me 28th August. |

Weimaraner breed average is 12/13 depending on where you look. I would use a dog with a score from anything under 20 but would think twice if it were above 20.
Remember that breed averages are taken ONLY from those dogs scored; there an awful lot of dogs out there not scored
