Home required for 18 months trained BrittanyI had a phone call earlier today regarding Piper, an 18 month dog which needs rehoming again - he was rehomed from his original owners 3/4 months ago. New owner's son has developed serious asthma and both their dogs and cat have to go by the time he comes home from hospital at the weekend. Piper was at one time fully trained - not sure what level, but present owner says he is whistle competent. He is vaccinated, wormed, house trained, castrated, is child friendly, and can be left alone for short periods without problems.
Jan Taylor is the contact - Ghilliegumdrop to you. She is putting him in kennels near Royston tomorrow until we either find a home for him or Margaret comes back next Thursday. Let Jan know if anyone can foster him meantime or help with transport or anything else.
His papers could be made available if someone wants to Field Trial him. He is Black and white, and well bred. Jan will take photos tomorow and post them here.

These are pictures of Piper once known as Bob. He is very thin and will need feeding up, also, although he may have once been trained to trial standard, he seems to have forgotten what he knew so, he is going to need a lot of work. He is a very nice dog who needs someone to bond with him and who will provide him with his forever home. Upto date on his inoculations, wormed, microchipped and tatooed. He is good in the car and to be left. He doesn't like cats or small dogs. Having said that there was a cat in the house when I picked him up.

Bless him, he is soooooooooo thin, he reminds me of how skinny Mugi was when he came home. I can help with transport if he needs to head up north of the midlands and my shifts allow (will travel a fair distance as long as my dogs have care at home).

Thanks Guy, I have someone coming to see him on Wednesday. I was told they might have come tomorrow but the guy has to work and cannot make it till Wednesday. It seems as though it will be the ideal home if they like him and take him.
