NZer with Hungarian Vizsla in GermanyHello to all Manu is our 1 year old Vizsla that we are doing our best to get ready for a range of hunting jobs.
I am learning as I go with regards tracking and pointing work, he is a very keen retriever so I dont focus too much on that . He is by far in a way the most sensible dog I have ever owned and a very serious worker, I have generally taken things pretty easy with him, show him a couple of times what I want let him try it for a few minutes and then practice every other day, he has yet to have a problem with any task. My main concern at the moment is all the exposure he has to deer and the near complete absence of winged prey, I am hoping he does not suffer from a one track mind and can get just as motivated by feathers. We will find out in October when the season opens.....

thank you to those who have welcomed me to the site. Guy I am living in a place called Willingen (NRW) around 40 mins to Kasel and around the same to Dortmond. I would really appreciate a Vizsla hunter contact if you can assist. Oldenburg is about 3 hours from me so bit of a trip....but not out of the question. I have plenty to learn and am keen to do so.
thanks for your help

german contactsend me your email and I will forward it to my friend. Hermann Wreesmann. He has Brittanys but helps train a Viszla in the village; I am sure he will have some ideas who to contact more locally to you.
