Organising a shot over dayIf a shot over day is organised can someone please advise how the costing is worked out?
Handlers would obviously pay but do the guns pay as well?
How much should a ground cost?
Do you pay for number of birds shot?
Anything else I should be aware of?

Places we go to normally charge per bird. It is up to you whether you charge guns as well as handlers, but you may find that they are more keen to shoot for themselves rather than for what the handlers want if they are having to pay. We normally only charge the dogs.

Claire, the days we run here are charged by the birds shot and the handlers share the cost, charging the guns a small ammount also brings the cost down.
For a days training shooting 30 birds between 6 or 8 handlers this works out about £60 each.
