Camera

Thanks very much for your comments.  It is really nice to have some feedback, especially as it took me bl....y ages to upload it to the forum.  I ended up doing it through photobucket, as I couldn't get it a decent size using picasa.

Re the camera, actually it isn't very good.  I was really disappointed in the first shot, of Jaz on point as the flash kept going off (I think I have about 15 shots of her as I moved in closer!!!!!!!!).

Also it didn't really focus very well.  It is one of those point and shoot, and if the subject sat still in good light it's fine, but anything else never comes out as well as I would like.  The good thing about it is that the camera is small and fits in my pocket, so I try to take it with me all the time.  The other thing is it wasn't that expensive, so if it gets wet and dropped etc it's not the end of the world.

The second pic of the flush was pure chance, I was actually trying to take another pic of Jaz on point, and I think it would have been more in focus and better light, but I am quite close now, and I think I probably flushed the pheasant as I came closer....  but it did just catch the flush which was great.
