Training in South West ScotlandI have a 4 months old puppy Wire bitch. I am looking for group training classes in South West Scotland.
I also have a 9 years old Working GSP, which also attended training classes. It is good socialising (Both dog and handler) and gets them familiar with other dogs and people. example:dummies being thrown by other people etc.

Is Doune too far for you (near Dunblane) ? - next meet is 13th July 9.45am till about 3pm. I'm going and a few others on here too.

I've just been talked into coming on Sunday, Annie, so I'll see you there (if I get the courage to actually turn up  )
Now all I have to do is decide who to bring...... My friend wants me to bring my 6 year old boy. I'll try to leave the velcro at home if I do  He's a mummies boy.....

Well, I will have Allez but after the death of his grandfather this morning I will be extremely wary of letting him off. It will have to be very far away from roads. I gave Flash to my friends Pamela & Simon Hall in Aberdeenshire as he had bonded so well with Simon and he took him shooting. They looked after the dogs while I was building my house. Si had Flash and Bena out this morning and they took off after a hare that got up right under their noses. Bena stopped on command but Flash had gone straight across a road after the hare and a lorry took him. It was instant as his head was hit. Simon and Pamela are devastated as am I. I had him for 6 years from a puppy, gifted to me by my good friends Pete and Margaret Green(Fosscott)

Oh Annie, how awful for everyone concerned. The only good thing (if there is one) is that he wouldn't have known about it. He was doing something he was enjoying.

Thanks for the offer of Doune, I presume this is with the GSP Club. Unfortunately I can't do the 13th July.
I shall try for August though! (although about 100+ miles from me, as I am near Thornhill)
