No, not with pups due, but my friend Margaret Green (Fosscott) is judging Brittanys - if anyone is near the ring say hello to her for me.

Me not going either. Couldn't face the very long journey tbh.

Claire - would you do the champ shows sharing? Maybe in my motorhome? or stopping overnight on way?

Claire

Absolutely!

BritAnnie

I noticed a lot of entries in a number of breeds are down from previous years(Brittanys and Wires quite low around 2 - guess the credit crunch and petrol prices have hit the shows! Hope that new website is successful for car sharing.

Just back from WKC. The only breeds judged outside were GSP's and Brittanys. The ground underfoot was really wet.
I won Junior dog again with my boy, so only waiting on 2 points now for his JW
How did everyone else do?

Well done Pam - didn't you also get placed in the junior stakes?
We had a fabulous day with winning a third CC with a Freddy son and a Freddy daughter - which of course went down like a concrete lilo
It was a shame that hardly any of the big gundogs were judged outside rather than that smelly hall with the ribbed concrete floors which so many of the dogs don't like. It may have improved the temperament on some of the dogs as we saw quite a few spats in the hall we were in - one even drew blood!

We were and are delighted - being successful never wins you too many friends as people always think you only win because of other influences - rarely do they consider perhaps it is the dog's quality and closeness to the breed standard
See you on Saturday - are you officially working?

Really well done, Sharon.
I'd not been to Bulith Wells before. It seemed quite relaxed. So, I'm glad we didn't go into the Halls and see any spats . Beecham wouldn't have been happy at all.
Münsters were sort of judged outside, under a marquee/tent type thing on soggy grass. Hubby showed Bosco as my back is still bad after Bosco's escapade @ Nat Gun (he pushed the chair over just as I was about to sit on it and both myself & chair ended up collapsed on the ground . It wasn't so funny a few hours later ). He came second out of two on Sunday to his lovely brother
Well done Sharon and Pam

My mail seems to be in a muddle and coming up twice.

Its funny but you really do find out who your friends are when you do a bit of winning
Yes I will be donning a lovely yellow jacket on Saturday and Sunday. Tis very attractive But I am also allowed to show because I have nothing to do with the show scheduling committee which means I don't pick judges or have any contact with them. I am allowed to put a judges name forward but if I do that then I cannot show under them.

Hi Sharon.
Yes, i got 4th in Junior dog stakes with Ethan aswell as winning his class.
I really am so pleased with him. This was the litter i deffinatly wasnt keeping a dog puppy. The more i looked and this puppy (who i had told myself i wasnt giving a name as i would want to keep him) i knew he had to stay.
He has been doing so well since he came out even winning the RCC at Border Union (my first with something i have bred myself )
Also, welldone for your 3rd CC. You must be thrilled.

Claire you are lucky we used to have to wear hard hats. What a sight and people kept asking if we knew something they didn't LOL It is sore on the feet though isn't it. You will be able to watch Sharon judge though.

Helen

Well done Sharon
Hard hats?? Why??
We'll have to definitely meet up Claire so you can meet Sam. (Fingers well and truly crossed Rob can get away as they are shooting again - last minute date and if he is, Rob and Sam will stay at home).

Health and safety require people doing patrol to have hard hats. They now tell the people where they will get one. If anything happens and tents coming down or whatever they put on hats and help.years ago a tent was coming down and we went in and got dogs out. There were panel glass doors on one of the tents and as Les went to get dogs out he had to stop doors hitting the dogs and his hand went through the glass. He was off work for 2 weeks.

Remember and take seats to SKC as there will be very few available. A lot of people take seats so if you need to sit take a chair.

Well done Sharon....if those two take after Freddy then it's no wonder you have made them up. Take no notice of the others it's just envy
