This is a picture of my GWP Jaffa...Withymere Walnut at Sultair....he died about 7 years ago. He was a brilliant beating and picking up dog and if he knew something was there then he stayed till he found it Exclamation
This picture was taken by our local paper after Jaffa had won PG at Crufts sometime around 1995 or 96, Sharon may have the writeups still.

Following Guy's thread about nose/nostril size.....  Archie looks like he is destined for great scenting ability!

Thanks Sharon, Helen and Alex. He is coming on nicely, but I'm not sure that I agree with the rumour that GWPs are laid back! He's a terror some days, and too quick for me! Wouldn't swap him though.........yet! Laughing

In all the years we've had the breed I think I can count on the fingers of one hand of those I consider "laid back" and those are similarly bred   Very Happy  Very Happy

After many months of waiting for pet passport, we eventually collected our new black and white bitch from Holland. She was a bit quiet at first but is now coming out of her shell and showing her naughty side  Very Happy with our older bitch Katie who is her new partner in crime.
