That's the problem with Wei's - a bit like 'Gorillas in the mist' - you can hardly see them, never saw birds yet either. Boy didn't he run! Nice one. _________________ Aberdon HPR's. Good-looking AND Intelligent.
Unfortunatly, my dog took no point and we were not placed.
The judge said that Vini is very impressive in his run, very powerfull. The partridges were in a tractor way (dry place), and Vini passed under the wind, they saw him and flushed... The luck was not on the date!
If he could take the point, I'm quiet sure he would win the race. The others were "under" in their run and the hunting willness wasn't so high.
Vini will be 3YO on the may 15thand still learns....Guess the next time wil be better !
Wonderful video Mojo, a rare pleasure to watch another dog at work.
Does anyone have or know of any other sites with film of GSPs/pointers working? The only ones I have found are from the US and it is such a different way of doing things.
As some of you know, I plan to get a female LH weim. Actually, I've been trying to get just the right one for the last few years but it seems that something always gets in the way. This year, there was only one female born in the litter I was on the list for. I was second on the list behind the breeder herself. So I'm out of luck till next year.
I did however manage to arrange for a male pup for my friend/work collegue Ross. So he went to Germany last week to meet the breeder and get his pup. Ross got back to town the night before last with 12 week old Zeiss (rhymes with "ice"). What a nice pup! He spent most of the day with us yesterday as Ross tried to recover from jet lag. Zeiss made himself right at home and relaxed in the warm weather with our two girls. I spent the day taking photos of him.
Here's a gallery of a few photos from Day One in Canada for Zeiss...
