Not yours Joram, the first photo in klienermunsterlanderuk, its got to be a large `hairy' not a small `hairy', after all they say the camera never lies, and it definately looks black and white to me Confused

The first picture of the KlM's is most definately a KlM not a large. But...I have a KlM, Kobi, who weighs in at 35Kg, and is 62cm at the shoulder, now he is BIG for the breed, and I think just within the standard. Kobi will be at the CLA this year, along with his brother Hector (who was at the BETA trials) and of course, our "honourary KlM" Molly the Cocker. You can see all three at .......

We will be at the CLA this year, all three days. Friday we are going "dogless" to let us browse the stands in peace, Saturday, we are bringing Hector (the "lost cause" rescue KlM) and on the Sunday we are bringing Kobi Hector and Molly. You'll be able to see the size differences when Kobi turns up, rather dramatic. Dog attendance will obviously be weather permitting, they aren't coming if it's over 21C

I see mention in this topic of a "farmers dog - no papers". Well my first KlM was just that from just outside Coesfeld (about 35Km south from Muenster). But she went through the German Hunting Tests, doing well on all aspects and trials, and became very well known in the areas south of Muenster for her ability and skills. Shows that papers for the dog are not everything.
Hope to see you all at the CLA, we are in the "Howling Tent" with all the other gun dogs, first person to relate the KlM to a German Long Hair Pointer does 50 pressups......the first person to ask "what kind of spaniel is that?" will be told to adopt the beasting position.
