cover for vet fees is low. I've got petplan and did have a marks and sparks policy for ayla but to be honest of the two although more expensive petplan is better and they pay up direct to my vet. Mines £40 per month per dog though which is a bit hard to swallow.
The multipet discount isn't worth much its about £1 when the new pup arrives though s/he will be going on petplan unless i can find a better insurer. _________________ These are my personal opinions and do not represent in any way the views of the WCGB.
Healthy pets is quoting around £8 per dog - why are you paying £40 each dog? How much more cover are you getting than I quoted earlier on? HP pays vet direct too. Seems a helluva difference. Haven't investigated multipet discount as I don't think I'll insure the older ones - I can't afford it, will just have to rely on piggy bank for them. _________________ Aberdon HPR's. mainly because of the life cover. Lots of the insurers will only do so much per year and then the cover stops... pet plan at least covers you for reoccurance and for lifetime rather than just one year.
We've not had any health problems with mine but after taking on a rescue that was a total health wreck that cost a fortune because he couldn't be insured I'm a lot more wary now.
