Sorry Helen we're 35 miles from the nearest railway station (Berwick), Edinburgh is 40 miles, Carlisle 60 (even more now the A7 is blocked!) and Newcastle 70.
Hi Liz So, ...... when Paz and I resume her Grand Tour of the British Isles we get off the train at Berwick I take it, turn west and just keep walking . Thank gawd for back packs and panniers, at least we wont arrive hungry.
