Mine too - have trained 5 escort-dogs in there. good food, good cellar and good the other, so I have been told
Re the hooch, and carting in supplies. Forgot to mention that the youngest brat also has panniers. As long as she has got her teddy with her she will happily transport anything that fits in her back-pack _________________ Helen

I always have an open mind. Never met a Brittany ...... tis on my 'to do' list. But if the dawgs are anything like the owners on here, that's good enough for me
Not too far from the Borders to Durham, Helen. I use my Brats as a way of dissuading people from getting one! _________________ Liz
That's really cruel Liz....just think if you didn't do that you could have populated the whole of the Broders with Brittany's _________________ Jan

Hi Liz good to hear from you. Tis so true. You are just up the road. I am assuming that trains and the such go your way.
If you are ever passing, and need a pit-stop, please call in and persuade me not to not to get a Brittany Have a feeling that being an escort-dog would not float their canoe . In their favour they do look nice and cuddly
Hi Jan are the borders short of Brits then? _________________ Helen

Hi again Liz Thought I had better ask......What sort of hospitality appeals to you? Are you a partaker of tea, coffee and whisky perchance? _________________ Helen

Sorry Helen we're 35 miles from the nearest railway station (Berwick), Edinburgh is 40 miles, Carlisle 60 (even more now the A7 is blocked!) and Newcastle 70.
Hi Liz So, ...... when Paz and I resume her Grand Tour of the British Isles we get off the train at Berwick I take it, turn west and just keep walking . Thank gawd for back packs and panniers, at least we wont arrive hungry.
Is there a weekly stage-coach, passing bus perchance?
Sadly I'm too old and ugly for thumbing it to work
Or perhaps I should just wait for you to pass by our casa _________________ Helen

Heavens, Liz Tis many a year since I paddled one of those. Now, how do I train Paz to do that? hmmm .... you may well have given us a new training challenge
Can just see it in your local rag 'Escort-dog paddles own canoe upstream to get to good hospitality!'
Hang on though, they have been doing that for years
