Hi Lisa, this is where a bit of clicker training comes in handy. It wears their little brains out because it makes them think. Perhaps you can play some mind games with her at home. I sympathise btw I went through it twice with Abbie, once with her torsion and the second time with her spay. She was under two for both of them . _________________ Lesley & Holly (Age 7.5 - re-home)

Is she not ok to go out after 2 wks? It's 10 days since Slate's spay and she had stitches in 2 places - lump removal and spay. She pootled around in the park today and we didn't get her to do anything at all, she just sniffed about. _________________ Slate and Grey

Yes Les, I used to do loads of clicker stuff with her before Blu came along! Must dust my clicker off and give it a go!
Not sure if my vets are being a little over cautious about the stitches! They said best not to have her free running until after the stitches come out Maybe because the wound is right on the edge of her back leg so theres lots of movement when she walks.
It doesn't seem to be bothering her in anyway so I might see how she goes and let her have a little run in a day or two. She only had the lump off on Friday. _________________ Lisa, Blu and Emmy

It might be different because Slate had dissolvable stitches, not sure. Best do what your vet advised. _________________ Slate and Grey
