Yes , I should be there. My car is working again and the snow and ice have gone so I've no excuses. I'll try tonight without the treats and see how it goes.

I took Buck to the ringcraft classes. He behaved better indoors than out !
I took treats with me but was very sparing in their use. I took Dale with me too - It took me an hour of quiet persuasion but I got Dale to go up with Buck ! Comments from others included "She's better at it than you!"..........." She's a better handler than you !"............"The dog likes her more !" ............." For a minute there Bill, I thought you had grown some hair !"
If I tried to move Bucks hind legs/paws back a bit by hand he sat at once, I asked David about this and he says to get the hind leg angulation by having him keep his hind paws where they are and move his front paws a little further forward.........I hadn't thought of that !
Dale was impressed by the coffee and biscuit and the training all for only £2. I think Dale liked the whole thing in general - She says Buck is a right show off - which he is - he seemed to like the whole shebang too, he is very confident and sort of "upbeat" at the classes. Dale was very surprised that he isn't a pest with the other dogs, he doesn't bother too much about them , he thinks everyone should just look at him !!

It took me about an hour to persuade Dale just to trot him up and down a hall twice ! The show would be ended before she got her a"$* into gear !
I think Dale might show a dog but she'll make up her own mind in her own time - Dale is my opposite, she never rushes into anything ........... .............except shopping centres !
