So glad to hear that you've got one of them back. From what you say, the possibility of `dog fighters' is a distinct possibility, it may be worth contacting both the local dog wardens and RSPCA, who may already have `information' regarding suspects, locations etc. It also helps to make sure the police are aware of the `possibility' of a dog fighting syndicate being active in the area, don't be fobbed off either , the police have to investigate, even if they don't want too Exclamation
Don't be put off by `not being told' you have the right to know who found the dog and where, or they HAVE to tell you the reason they can not disclose ( ongoing crimminal proceedings ).
Wishing you all the best in finding the cocker, and finding the scum that took them.
Peter

fabulous if both dogs have been returned.  Horrific the number of dogs that are being stolen out of cars or out of kennels, scary really.

Hi Everyone

Was in paper

http://www.eveningleader.co.uk/ne...-owner-believes-stolen.4970223.jp

Got both dogs back, someone bought Jigga off a traveler in a red van and saw it in the paper.

The council lady I spoke to informed me they NEVER give out details to who made the call! I have to write her to get a refund for the fine I got slapped on for having a "roaming" dog even though he was stolen and police had all been informed.

But anyway, I couldn't care less about the money since they are both back safely!

Thanks

Great to hear they're both back with you.  While the council may not be able to give you the info you want there's nothing stopping them from giving it to the police so I'd push them to take some action
