I have e-mailed Steve Kimberly with a few concerns (he only lives about 10 miles away) and he has set my mind at ease and I am going to take said dog to a course of Gun dog training classes starting in March - fingers crossed.

Fantastic news, stick with it and you'll find it very rewarding!

His better side! Seriously, his previous owner used a Halti on him and it really rubbed the skin and hair from under both eyes - one worse than the other. It just doesn't look very nice at the moment, but I think it's getting better slowly.

He is sort of settling in - fingers crossed for improvement!

If he's going to retrieve that terrier he could do with moving his grip up a bit

hi david

he looks a cracker - do you know what breeding he is?

that is the problem with the halti collars. am still trying to get my little darling to walk to heel on the lead properly Shocked Shocked if she is on her own perfect but with the other 2 not so good. she actually walks to heel better off the lead but i cant trust her 100% so i have got one of those dogmatic things - bit more gentle. she only wears it for about 5 mins to the woods and 5 mins back so not too bad.

what do the JR's think of him.

keep us up to date with his progress.

If the GSP touches my terrier he dies!

I haven't got the KC papers back from the Mother in law yet, but the name includes "Puzzle" - does that mean anything?

The JR's wish we'd got a "proper" dog!!!Smile
