Hi. I've just joined the forum under strict instructions from Langhaar (only joking).
I live in Devon with my husband and two small children and our very naughty 8 month old GLP bitch who chewed up Ben's work shoes last night (to be fair, he shouldn't have left them in the area she sleeps in!!). Would love to hear from any other Devonians who work their dogs as I'm hoping to get out on some shoots etc. in the coming season. We are also going to have a pop at showing this year.

Hope you have a good car, we are not well catered for in the SW when it comes to shows...or any `events' for that matter, one of the reasons I moved up here

I am just near Crediton. We have found a couple of, what would be called in the horse world, unaffiliated shows in Devon. However there aren't that many Champ shows down this way are there? Nevermind, my two children mean i only get out to shows on rare occasions!

I know Crediton well, I use to work up the road at Down St. Mary, and have friends to the west at Spreyton.
The only shows I use to go to were Devon County and Paignton, although in the former I think LMs were in AVNSC classes when I was down there. I did alot of stewarding at both shows which was very `educational'.
Just thought, in AVNSC you could get LM's and GLP's up against each other...No contest eh Langhaar
