this is aimed mainly at you brenda,what are exceptable hip scores for glps.im waiting on my results at the minute bit the vet thought thet would be 3and 5. is that ok? do you do all of your dogs

Hi greylag, the mean score average for the breed in the UK was 11 but I think the latest is lower. This is a good score for any breed. Yes we hip score all our breeding stock and eye test too. Results are published in the KC Gazette.

That's an excellent average score. Brittanys have been at 17 for a few years now. I won't breed with anything above that. Mine are 7,7, and 14

thanks brenda,iv had wigeons results back in the post today her scores were 4 and 3 so all good news.need to write to the breeder now to get the endorsment of her pedigree incase she turns out ok and we decide to have a litter with her,but thats a long way off,if we do!!
