Craig, I thought you were going to get a long-hair as the next one?
Lisa, how old is your girlie Weim?

We still intend to get a LH female. But we've had a run of bad luck in our search over the last few years....breedings that did not take, litters with only males, still-born pups etc. We've also been extremely picky about what lines we want a pup from.
So we found ourselves in a situation of having only 2 dogs to do all the work for us, one 8 1/2 years old, the other almost 5. We realized that we may not get a LH until next year at the earliest, maybe even 2 or 3 years from now: not an ideal situation for us since we do so much hunting and usually need 3 dogs to handle it all (I also like to run two dogs at the same time, I absolutely love watching dogs point and honour each other).
So when I heard about Henri's breeding, which I knew to be a repeat of a fantastic litter 2 years ago, we decided to get in line for a male. And this time lady luck was with us
Henri's pedigree is basically a who's who of the best field trial lines in the US. All four grandparents are national field trial champions as is his father. I don't expect him to set the show scene of fire, in fact I doubt he will ever see the inside of a ring in his life, but with the right exposure and training he should be an excellent worker.
Our search for the perfect LH continues.... _________________ facta non verba |

He is growing like a weed and has learned that one of life's great pleasures seems to be torturing his "sister" Uma.
Souris, the Uber-Alpha female has him bowing and curtsying though... _________________ facta non verba |

No 17 - she sends a calming signal and Henri says: Naa naa na na na I'm not frightened of YOU!
No 18: What the eck is he doing now?
No 19: Ok that's it - now you get THE LOOK!
No 20: Is SHE talking to ME!?!? _________________ Lesley & Holly (Age 7.5 - re-home)

taken on a preserve hunts last March by Gina Engler.
This one is Aspen in flight, taken at the 2007 ratings test.. Taken by Ed Lindsey
Taken from another forum. I was given permission to cross post if I made it clear that theydon't condone dogs leaping in the air for birds. Regardless of that I think the pics are cool! [/img] _________________ South Devon Rep for:
