Although I am not very fond of training puppies too soon, it's interesting to find out what they are capable of in an early stage.
This week I took my 10 week old small musterlander puppy Bella in the garden to do some more serious tests. Bella is a daughter of Didi, my first small munsterlander - now three years old.

As you can see in the second video, Bella expect to find another duck wing. After she comes back, she smells the rabbit fur which she (almost) perfectly retrieves.
I also worked a few minutes on pointing. Very quickly she gave notice of a talent for pointing.

With these result I don't have to worry about her basic capacities. That means the I can spend time to let her quite free and discover the world the next coming months.
