Hi everybody & welcome to the forum.
Quick intro: We have a 17 mnth old Weim bitch. Currently we do gundog working tests with her, and we are also training to do agility (only just started that), and we show her. We're having great fun with her
We planned on doing spring pointing tests right now, but then decided we needed to have her steady to hare/rabbit before we risked it, so are doing bolting rabbit and rabbit pen stuff - but probably won't be ready for this season's SPT.
We beat on a shoot and maybe we'll take her this coming season, maybe not - we haven't decided if it's a good idea or not yet!!
Eventually we'd love to enter field trials with her, but lots of work to do first. _________________ Slate and Grey
I have 2 gwps - one 7 month old and one 5 year old. The older one is used purely for grouse counts and the youngster, I am hoping to trial in the future, as well as grouse counting, shooting etc. We also have springers, pointers and a setter.
I'm also doing a bit of showing with her. She has her second show on Saturday - the HPR Club of Scotland open show which will be her first time up against other gwp's.
Lazerbeam is the one to ask about beating with an hpr.
